LEVEL 1

Level 1 Prerequisites


No experienced needed and all fitness levels and abilities welcomed. Your pole jounrey starts here.




Pole L1


This class introduces static pole spins from the ground as well as various pole sits and holds. Students will build up to basic climbs and one armed spins as well as simple combinations with attention to safe form and building muscle using body weight.




Pole Choreography (L1+)


This mixed level class gives dancers an opportunity to focus on developing a relationship with how they like to move! Explore contemporary and heels choreography in different classes, as well as freestyle exploration.

Kneepads and legwarmers/layers are recommended. Bring heels or socks.

Prerequisites: Familiar with basic spins, sits, and basic floorwork. For beginners, it is recommended that you take at least four L1 classes.




Spin Pole L1


Learn the basics of spin pole and familiarize your body with the sensation of spinning. In this class you will build stamina and strength through spinning combos using concepts from L1.

Prerequisites: Beginners welcome, although should be familiar with basic spins and moving around the pole.




Chair Choreography (L1+)


Explore the sensual art of chair dance with this choreography class. Combining pole, lap dance, and floorwork, you will learn a chair-based choreo routine every month while being encouraged to develop your own movement style. Prior pole and floorwork experience is beneficial.




Technique & Flow (L1+)


This mixed level class is designed to help dancers find their own personal flow. Students will dance in small group and solo freestyle dances. Students are encouraged to embrace different styles of pole weekly to explore new styles. Themes include contemporary, sensual, twerk, and instructors choice. Prerequisites: Beginners welcome, although should be familiar with moving around the pole as this class is freestyle based.




Floorwork (L1+)


Take it down low and focus on moves at the base of the pole and on the floor in this class.Work on your technique and style while using the floor as your main apparatus. Be ready for rolls, traveling across the floor, and legwork. Knee pads and layers (leggings/long socks/leg warmers) are highly recommended to slide around the floor. Heels encouraged (6-7inch recommended for beginners) though socks work as well!




Pole Rotations and Transitions (L1+)


Cycling through movements and flow. This mixed level class will explore all things spin. Spins on static pole and spins on spin pole will be the focus while emphasizing fluidity and flow in the transitions.




Sexy Foundations (L1+)


Learn the basics of heels, glides, wavy legs & body rolls in this foundations class to compliment your dance on and off the pole. Knee pads and layers are highly recommended to slide around the floor. Heels encouraged (6-7inch recommended for beginners) though socks work as well! Prerequisites: Beginners welcome, although should be familiar with basic spins and moving around the pole.





LEVEL 2

Level 2 Prerequisites


Both Sides: Basic climb, one-armed fireman, pole sit, jasmine




Pole L2


Learn intermediate holds, spins, floorwork moves, and practice basic ground and descending inversions. Shorts or sticky leggings needed to climb, sit, and invert on the pole.




Spin Pole Inversions (L2+)


Learn how to perform controlled climbs, inverts, and transitions on spin. Experiment with flow and momentum with longer combos, while perfecting your spinning technique and building endurance. Must be in L2 or above.




Pole Choreography (L2+)


From plastic strip to contemporary — explore different styles of pole dance with a new choreo routine every month. Incorporate your own dance style, while perfecting tricks and transitions. Must be in L2 or above. Knee pads are highly recommended. Heels are optional, but always welcomed.




Floorwork (L2+)


Take your floorwork to the next level in this class with focus on strength and power movements on the floor and at the base of the pole. Heels and kneepads required for this class.




Inversions Lab


Achieve and perfect your inversions from the ground, using focused strength conditioning and drills to get you upside down with confidence! This class will feature rotating instructors from our Raven team to help you achieve that upside down life. Prerequisites: strong climb & jasmine both sides, or have tested into L2 or above.




Spin Pole L2


Take your spin pole journey to the next level up the pole with longer combinations and inversions.




Pole L2 & L3


Mixed level class to learn intermediate holds, spins, and inversions. Upper level students will work on inverted shapes and aerial invert conditioning. Shorts or sticky leggings required. Prerequisites: Must be able to perform a basic climb, pole sit, jasmine, and a one-arm basic spin of choice on both sides. Experience inverting from the ground is recommended.





LEVEL 3

Level 3 Prerequisites


Both Sides: Invert from floor, Strong Chopper Hold (5 seconds), Chair Spin with full rotation




Pole L3


Refine your basic invert technique with an emphasis on clean lines and pointed toes in this class. We focus on incorporating more dynamic movements, flexibility tricks, and intermediate aerial and spinning inversions.




Spin Pole L3+


Continue your spin pole journey with longer combinations of inverted moves, including aerial inversions




Pole L2 & L3


Mixed level class to learn intermediate holds, spins, and inversions. Upper level students will work on inverted shapes and aerial invert conditioning. Shorts or sticky leggings required. Prerequisites: Must be able to perform a basic climb, pole sit, jasmine, and a one-arm basic spin of choice on both sides. Experience inverting from the ground is recommended.

Mixed level class to perfect your inversions from the air, along with intermediate level spins and transitions. Refine your basic invert technique with an emphasis on clean lines and pointed toes in this class. After achieving mastery of aerial inversions and shoulder mounts, develop the foundations for a strong ayesha and handspring. Prerequisites: Aerial invert to leg hang both sides, strong chopper hold (5 sec), chair spin with full rotation.





LEVEL 4

Level 4 Prerequisites


Both Sides: Extended Butterfly, Aerial Invert to Leg Hang, Shoulder Mount Splay to Crucifix




Pole L4


After achieving mastery of aerial inversions and shoulder mounts, develop the foundations for a strong ayesha and handspring. This advanced class also incorporates more technical tricks, holds, and dynamic transitions into inverts.




Pole L4 & L5


Once ayeshas and shoulder mounts are perfected, it is time to prepare for advanced combos. This class will focus on the foundations of a strong handspring as well as incorporate advanced tricks and holds and dynamic transitions into inverts. Prerequisites: Aerial invert both sides, true grip ayesha, shoulder mount to brass monkey.




Pole L3 & L4


Mixed level class to perfect your inversions from the air, along with intermediate level spins and transitions. Refine your basic invert technique with an emphasis on clean lines and pointed toes in this class. We focus on incorporating more dynamic movements, flexibility tricks, and intermediate aerial and spinning inversions. After achieving mastery of aerial inversions and shoulder mounts, develop the foundations for a strong ayesha and handspring. Prerequisites: Aerial invert to leg hang both sides, strong chopper hold (5 sec), chair spin with full rotation.
